Feature Statuses

Every feature has a status indicating where it is in the development lifecycle.

Status Overview​

Under Consideration​

Features start here when proposed. In this stage:

  • The product team is evaluating feasibility
  • Vote counts help gauge demand
  • Technical implications are being assessed

Features may stay in this status while gathering more feedback.

Planned​

Features move to "Planned" when:

  • They've been approved for development
  • Resources are identified
  • A rough timeline is established

Planned features appear in a horizon (Now, Next, or Later).

In Progress​

Active development has begun. Features in progress:

  • Have assigned developers
  • Are typically in the "Now" horizon
  • Are expected to ship soon

Shipped​

The feature is live and available to users. When a feature ships:

  • It moves to the "Shipped" section
  • Credits you allocated are returned to your pool
  • You may receive a notification (if enabled)

Status Changes​

You can track status changes in the feature detail view. Significant updates may trigger notifications for users who voted on that feature.

Filtered Views​

The feedback portal lets you filter by status:

  • See only "In Progress" to track current work
  • View "Shipped" to see recent releases
  • Filter "Under Consideration" to find features needing votes
